Parking options at Edinburgh
The official parking products listed on Edinburgh Airport’s own website. We don’t show prices: they vary by date and by how far ahead you book, so check the live price on the operator’s site before you travel.

Drop-off & pick-up
£8.50
Terminal drop-off: £8.50 for up to 10 minutes, then £1 a minute
As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.
The charged Pickup & Dropoff zone is on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park, nearest the terminal: £8.50 for up to 10 minutes, then £1 per minute. Pay by card, contactless, Apple Pay or Google Pay at the pay stations or exit barrier — all car parks are cashless. Local residents in some nearby postcode districts can apply for 50% off the first 10 minutes.
For stops of more than 10 minutes, Edinburgh suggests 1 Hour Parking in the Terminal car park.
Free alternative: the free drop-off and pick-up area in the Long Stay car park — up to 30 minutes free. There's no shuttle bus: allow about 10 minutes to walk to the terminal.
Picking someone up
Use the charged Pickup & Dropoff zone (multi-storey ground floor), 1 Hour Parking in the Terminal car park, or the free 30 minutes in Long Stay (10-minute walk, no shuttle bus).
Getting there by public transport
- Buses: Airlink 100, Service 17 and Service 18 link the airport with the city of Edinburgh, with other services to Glasgow, Fife, Dundee and Stirling. All bus stops are outside the terminal.

Blue Badge parking & EV charging
Blue Badge & assistance
Vehicles carrying Blue Badge holders get one hour's free access to any of the car parks, including the drop-off and pick-up zones. All car parks except Mid Stay have wider spaces for Blue Badge holders; Long Stay and Plane Parking have call points to the special assistance team. The Blue Badge scheme doesn't apply on the airport roads — unattended cars are towed by the police.

Electric vehicle charging
Edinburgh Airport has EV charging points on site; don't park in the charging bays unless you're charging.
Tips for Edinburgh
- FastPark, Multi-storey and Mid Stay are pre-book only; Long Stay, Terminal and Plane Parking keep some drive-up spaces.
- Multi-storey bookings arriving between 03:30 and 18:00 include fastTRACK security access for up to five people (hand luggage only, via the level 2 bridge).
- There's no shuttle bus from Long Stay — it's a 10–12 minute walk. Plane Parking has a free shuttle about every 18 minutes.
- Bookers can use 1 Hour Parking free while using the Twilight bag drop the night before an early flight (selected airlines).
