Independent off-airport car parks and meet-and-greet firms also serve many airports. We only list ones we have checked — read on- vs off-airport parking and how to check a car park is legitimate before booking one.
Drop-off & pick-up
Free
Terminal drop-off: Free — pick-up and drop-off zone outside the terminal
As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.
There's a free pick-up and drop-off zone directly outside the terminal. It's for immediate drop-offs and pick-ups only — no waiting in your vehicle. If you need longer, use the Short Stay parking a short walk away.
Picking someone up
If you're waiting for arriving passengers, park free for up to 15 minutes in the Premium (Red) Zone or 30 minutes in the Standard (Green) Zone — you must display a parking disc. There's a 2-hour no-return rule for free parking.
Getting there by public transport
- Bus Vannin routes (including 1, 2, 8, 11 and 12 and their variants) link the airport with Douglas and the south of the island — every 20 minutes in the daytime and early evening, every 30 minutes otherwise.
- The Isle of Man Steam Railway's Ronaldsway Halt is a five-minute walk from the airport.
Blue Badge parking & EV charging
Blue Badge & assistance
Designated disabled bays are in the Premium Zone, but Blue Badge holders can use any space: parking is free for up to 1 hour (display your Blue Badge and a disc); for longer stays pay via RingGo code 35794 to get the Standard rate wherever you park. If you're taking your badge with you, ask the Information Desk for an Isle of Man Airport Parking Card for People with Disabilities.
Tips for Isle of Man
- The car parks are cashless: pay with the RingGo app using the code for your zone (Red/Premium 35800, Green/Standard 35801).
- Failing to pay can lead to a £60 penalty or the vehicle being removed.
- Motorbikes pay half the Standard tariff.
The Isle of Man is a Crown Dependency — not part of the UK. The airport has over 580 parking spaces in colour-coded zones, open 24/7.
