Drop-off & pick-up

Terminal drop-off: £8 for up to 10 minutes in the Pick Up & Drop Off car park
As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.
The Pick Up & Drop Off car park is a one-minute walk from the terminal. It is cashless — pay at the barrier when you leave. Car charges: £8 for up to 10 minutes, £10 for 10–20 minutes, £13.50 for 20–30 minutes and £16.50 for 30–60 minutes, then £16.50 for each extra hour. Minibuses and coaches pay more and have their own lane.
Don't drop off or pick up on the roads around the airport — the airport says vehicles doing so may get a parking charge notice.
Free alternative: the One Hour Free Parking Zone inside the Mid Stay car park (follow the red signs for Mid Stay & 1 Hour Free from Whitehouse Lane) — about a five-minute walk to the terminal, with a slight incline.
Picking someone up
Use the Pick Up & Drop Off car park (same charges) or the One Hour Free Parking Zone in the Mid Stay car park. If the free zone is full, park in any Mid Stay bay — you don't need to exit and re-enter.
Getting there by public transport
- FLYER buses run by Transdev link the airport with Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, including Leeds and Bradford Interchange railway stations; through rail-and-bus tickets are available.
- Buses usually run from about 06:00 to 22:00 every day.
- The airport is roughly 8.5 miles from Leeds city centre and 8 miles from Bradford.
Blue Badge parking & EV charging
Blue Badge & assistance
Dedicated Blue Badge areas are available in all car parks. Blue Badge holders who are travelling can stay up to 60 minutes in the Pick Up & Drop Off car park for the standard £8 fee; there are several disabled bays there, a minute from the terminal front.
Tips for Leeds Bradford
- Premium Short Stay includes free Fast Track security and extra-wide bays.
- Flexible parking bookings can be changed or cancelled for a full refund any time before the start time; non-flexible bookings have different rules.
