Drop-off & pick-up

Terminal drop-off: From £8.50 for up to 10 minutes in the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park

The Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park is cashless and ticketless: cameras read your number plate on entry and you pay at the exit barrier by contactless, Chip & PIN, Apple Pay or Google Pay (no card surcharge). Prices start at £8.50 for up to 10 minutes; for longer, Bristol suggests the Short Stay car park.
Red Routes with double red lines surround the airport. Bristol enforces them with a £100 parking charge (£60 if paid within 14 days).
Free alternative: the Waiting Zone allows up to 1 hour free, with a frequent shuttle bus to the terminal from the Car Rental Centre, a short walk away.
Picking someone up
Use the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park (from £8.50 for 10 minutes) or wait in the free Waiting Zone (up to 1 hour) and meet passengers off the shuttle bus.
Getting there by public transport
- A1 Bristol Airport Flyer — Bristol Bus Station, city centre, Temple Meads and Bedminster; daily, up to every 8 minutes.
- A2 Portishead Airport Flyer, A3 Weston Airport Flyer (from Weston-super-Mare railway station) and A4 Bath Airport Flyer (via Keynsham).
- Buses use the Transport Interchange, which has a covered bridge to the terminal.
Blue Badge parking & EV charging
Blue Badge & assistance
Blue Badge holders can stay up to 40 minutes in the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park for £8.50 — scan the barcode on the back of the badge at the exit barrier (friends and family dropping off a Blue Badge holder can do the same). Tips for Bristol
- Silver Zone is Bristol's cheapest car park: leave your keys and take the bus (every 15 minutes) to the Transport Interchange, which has flat-level covered access to the terminal.
- You can amend or cancel a booking free up to 48 hours before your car park arrival time; after that there's a £5 amendment fee.
- Bristol says online prices can be up to 70% cheaper than turning up (its example: a 15-day Multi-Storey stay).
All Bristol's car parks have CCTV, number-plate recognition and secure fencing and are monitored 24 hours a day.
