The official parking products listed on Southampton Airport’s own website. We don’t show prices: they vary by date and by how far ahead you book, so check the live price on the operator’s site before you travel.

Drop-off & pick-up

Terminal drop-off: £7 for up to 20 minutes in the Pick up & Drop-Off area

As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.

Pick up & Drop-Off is undercover on the ground floor of the Short Stay car park, a minute's walk from the terminal: £7 for up to 20 minutes, paid by card or contactless at the exit barrier (no card fee). For longer, use the Short Stay car park.

Don't stop on the airport roads: Southampton charges £80 (£50 if paid within 14 days) to drivers who drop off or pick up outside the car parks.

The airport says there is currently no free drop-off or pick-up option, and no shuttle buses, because the Long Stay car park is closed.

Picking someone up

Use the Pick up & Drop-Off area in the Short Stay car park (£7 for 20 minutes) or park in Short Stay itself, a 1–3 minute walk from the terminal.

Getting there by public transport

  • Southampton Airport Parkway railway station is 99 steps from the terminal via a footbridge with a lift.
  • Fastest rail times from the station include Southampton city centre (7 minutes), Winchester (10 minutes), Bournemouth (36 minutes) and Reading (49 minutes).

Blue Badge parking & EV charging

Blue Badge & assistance

Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes validated in the Short Stay car park — if you arrive in a taxi, tell the car park team about your Blue Badge on entry or exit.

Electric vehicle charging

Southampton offers an EV Meet & Greet parking product, and lists electric car charging points on its parking pages.

Tips for Southampton

  • The Long Stay car park is currently closed — book Short Stay, Priority or Meet & Greet instead.
  • The Short Stay multi-storey has a 2.2m height limit.
  • Flexible bookings can be cancelled or amended online up to 2 hours before arrival.

Southampton also sells short-stay season tickets for frequent travellers and cruise parking.
