Drop-off & pick-up

£9

Terminal drop-off: £9 for up to 12 minutes, then £1 a minute (30 minutes maximum)

As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.

The Drop Off and Pick Up Zone is a 5-minute walk from the terminal. It is cashless and barrier-free: number-plate cameras record your visit and you pay online afterwards. It costs £9 for 12 minutes, then £1 a minute; the maximum stay is 30 minutes and Luton says a £95 enforcement charge applies to drivers who stay longer.

Free alternative: drop off free for up to 2 hours in the Long Stay Car Park (sat nav LU2 9NW) and take the free shuttle bus — about 10 minutes to the terminal.

Picking someone up

Use the same Drop Off and Pick Up Zone (same charges), or pick up free for up to 2 hours in the Long Stay Car Park — passengers catch the free shuttle bus from Bus Bay B outside the terminal (about 10 minutes, every 20 minutes).
