Parking options at Southend
The official parking products listed on London Southend Airport’s own website. We don’t show prices: they vary by date and by how far ahead you book, so check the live price on the operator’s site before you travel.

Drop-off & pick-up

Terminal drop-off: £8 for up to 10 minutes in Express Pick-up and Drop-off
As stated on the airport’s website, checked 3 October 2026. Charges can change — check before you travel.
Express Pick-up and Drop-off is in the Superior car park, directly opposite the terminal. You can stop for up to 10 minutes; the £8 charge is paid online after you leave, by midnight the following day.
The approach roads have double red lines — a no-stopping zone from the roundabout between the Holiday Inn and the retail park through to the Premium and Budget car parks — so use the Express area rather than stopping on the road.
Picking someone up
Use Express Pick-up and Drop-off (£8, up to 10 minutes). The airport suggests allowing about half an hour from landing to leaving the terminal, though it can be as little as 15 minutes.
Getting there by public transport
- Southend Airport station is at the airport, with up to six trains an hour at peak times towards London (the airport quotes 52 minutes to central London) and links via Stratford for the Elizabeth line.

Blue Badge parking & EV charging
Blue Badge & assistance
Blue Badge bays for pick-up and drop-off are in the Superior car park (charges apply) — the closest to the terminal; if you need extra time, use the help button at the exit barrier or payment machine. For parking, Blue Badge bays are in the Premium and Budget car parks (Premium's are closer). Book assistance through your airline.
Tips for Southend
- Southend renamed its car parks: Superior was Short Stay, Budget was Mid Stay and Standard was Long Stay — old bookings remain valid.
- Vehicles over 2.0m tall or 5.0m long must use the Budget car park.
- All Southend parking is on site within walking distance — no shuttle buses.
- The terminal isn't open 24 hours: it opens 3 hours before the first departure.
